Vintage Tredair brogue shoes with heel UK 7
Tredair was brand of Goodyear welted boots and shoes, originally a part of the White & Co. family-owned shoe manufacturing business which produced footwear for over a century. White & Co was one of several factories licensed to produce Dr Martens boots in the UK. in 1976, the Tredair name was trademarked by White and Co. to differentiate their output of Dr Martens boots from other UK producers like NPS [Solovair]. When R.Griggs, the primary manufacturer of Dr Martens , secured an exclusive license for the brand in 1983, Tredair began producing its own line of Tredair branded boots.
